UK Rural Event of the Year 2024 Winner and 2025 Finalist
Royal Three Counties Show was crowned UK Rural Event of the Year 2024 by the NOEA awards and is currently a finalist for the 2025 award (winner will be announced end of Nov), highlighting the show’s significance and excellence in celebrating rural life, agriculture, and the community. This is a huge honour for everyone involved in making the event such a success.

Future of Farming Theatre: Specialist Advice for Farmers and Land Professionals
Looking to enhance your expertise in British agriculture, land management, and sustainability? The Future of Farming Theatre, sponsored by Virgin Money and Light Source bp in 2025, offers a wealth of opportunities for farmers, landowners, and agricultural professionals.
Over three days, the theatre hosts engaging panel discussions, networking sessions, and expert insights. Topics focus on business sustainability, environmental resilience, and practical agricultural technology. Attendees can learn from real-world farmer case studies and gain actionable strategies for success.
2025’s line-up of special guests included Farmer Will, Kaleb Cooper, Ally Hunter Blair, JB Gill, Kate Humble and Adam Henson, all of whom delivered talks and joined discussions on stage.
Farmers who visit this theatre will be able to:
- Enhance their knowledge of British farming and land-based professions.
- Connect with industry experts and fellow professionals in a dedicated social hub.
- Apply for NRoSO and BASIS points during their visit.

As well as listening to talks and joining in on discussions within the Future of Farming theatre, farmers can drop by advice stands located within the theatre marquee. In 2025, these included:

Networking & Social Events
Our annual social events bring farmers together. These events include the CLA Big Breakfast (Friday) and part-funded Stockman’s Dinner (Saturday evening – tickets available to purchase with entry forms).
Receptions and networking opportunities are held at the show each year. In 2025, these were hosted by Michelmores, River Severn Partnership Advanced Wireless Innovation Region, Virgin Money and Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE).
Additionally, a Rural Careers Fair is held on the show Saturday from 4pm, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities in agriculture, horticulture and the rural sector.
NFU Tent
The NFU welcomes members from across the area into their marquee for complimentary tea, coffee and cake. This area is a hub for farming discussions, with the NFU president speaking to members about the hot topics within the agricultural sector on the Friday of the show each year. There is also chance to catch up with advisors and specialists across the three days.
Young Farmers Clubs
Young Farmers from across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire return to the Royal Three Counties Show to battle it out in a series of competitions, including a tug of war in the YFC Village, sponsored by Ariat Work in 2025, carpentry and stock judging, along with many others. Young Farmers Club members receive discounted tickets to the show and are given a platform for their activities throughout the weekend, making it an event not to be missed. YFC member tickets can be purchased on the gate each day of the show. Bring your YFC membership ID badge with you for proof.

Livestock Showing
The Farming Village is the place to see some of the finest livestock, including the largest gathering of rare and minority livestock breeds in the country.
Over the three show days, there are nearly 900 classes, 120 native and non-native breeds of animals across 35 judging rings, with a prize fund of £125,000 gifted by Three Counties Agricultural Society. Many of the classes are sponsored by H Weston & Sons Ltd.
New classes are introduced annually, Young Handler classes are available to enter, encouraging young people into the practice of showing livestock, and we host a number of National Breed Society Shows.

Sheep Shearing and British Fleece Show
Enjoy the buzz of the sheep shearing area by taking part, or cheering your friends on, in the machine and hand shearing classes held across the three days.
Alternatively, farmers can view prizewinning fleeces learn more about British Wool grading.

Machinery and Equipment
Packed with the latest cutting-edge machinery from big name brands, the ‘Machinery Mile’ is the place you’ll find makes such as John Deere, Kubota, Caterpillar, Toyota, Massey Ferguson and Fendt showcasing tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, forklifts, diggers and other agricultural machinery.
