Future of Farming Theatre: Specialist Advice for Farmers and Land Professionals
Looking to enhance your expertise in British agriculture, land management, and sustainability? The Future of Farming Theatre, supported by Virgin Money and Farmers Guardian, offers a wealth of opportunities for farmers, landowners and agricultural professionals.
Over three days, the theatre hosts engaging panel discussions, networking sessions, and expert insights. This year, topics will focus on sustainable menus and the changing food landscape, healthy people and teams, collaboration, soils, water and funding opportunities. Plus, there will be a Farmers’ Question Time. Attendees can learn from real-world farmer case studies and gain actionable strategies for success, all while enjoying a complimentary cuppa.
2026’s line-up of special guests delivering talks and joining discussions on stage will include Baroness Minette Batters, Kaleb Cooper, Ally Hunter Blair, Kelvin and Liz Fletcher and Adam Henson.
Farmers who visit this theatre will be able to:
- Enhance their knowledge of British farming and land-based professions.
- Connect with industry experts and fellow professionals in a dedicated social hub.
- Apply for NRoSO and BASIS points during their visit.

Advice Stands and Trade Stands
As well as listening to talks and joining in on discussions within the Future of Farming Theatre, supported by Virgin Money and Farmers Guardian, farmers can drop by advice stands located within the theatre marquee. This year these will include:

- Farmers Guardian
Other organisations and businesses exhibiting across the showground, all dedicated to helping farmers gain valuable knowledge and offering opportunities to network with local representatives and experts, include DEFRA, feed merchants, vets and technology companies. Click here to find out more.
Networking & Social Events
Our annual social events bring farmers together. These events include the CLA Big Breakfast (Friday) and part-funded Stockman’s Dinner (Saturday evening – tickets available to purchase with entry forms).
Receptions and networking opportunities are also held in the Future of Farming Theatre at the show each year.
Additionally, a Rural Careers Fair is held on the show Saturday from 4pm, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities in agriculture, horticulture and the rural sector.
We are proud to offer reduced prices for exhibitors in the brand NEW Stockman’s Cafe, a popular social space throughout the show.
The Old Bull Bar tent, in partnership with Wye Valley Brewery and Westons, will be open within the show opening hours and later on Friday and Saturday evening, offering the perfect chance to catch up with fellow farmers. Closing times are as follows:
- Friday til 9pm – Stewards and Judges evening, open to public with live music
- Saturday til 9pm – Open to public with live music
- Sunday til 6pm
Please note all other areas of the show will be closed from 6pm onwards on these days.

NFU Tent
The NFU welcomes members from across the area into their marquee for complimentary tea, coffee and cake. This area is a hub for farming discussions, with NFU president Tom Bradshaw, VP Robyn Munt and Livestock board chair David Barton hosting session and speaking to members during the show. There is also chance to catch up with advisors and specialists across the three days.
Young Farmers Clubs Village, sponsored by Ariat Work
Young Farmers from across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire return to the Royal Three Counties Show to battle it out in a series of competitions, including a tug of war in the YFC Village, sponsored by Ariat Work. The Royal Three Counties Show will be hosting the National Stockjudging competition, anyone wanting to take part can apply here.
Young Farmers Club members receive discounted tickets to the show and are given a platform for their activities throughout the weekend, making it an event not to be missed. YFC member tickets can be purchased on the gate each day of the show. Bring your YFC membership ID badge with you for proof.

Livestock Showing
Head to the Farming Village to see outstanding livestock and genetics from across the UK and the spectacular daily Grand Parade, complete with live commentary.
Over the three show days, there are nearly 900 classes, 120 native and non-native breeds of animals across 35 judging rings, with a prize fund of £125,000 gifted by Three Counties Agricultural Society. Many of the classes are sponsored by H Weston & Sons Ltd.
New classes are introduced annually, Young Handler classes are available to enter, encouraging young people into the practice of showing livestock, and this year we will host 13 National Breed Society Shows. Click here to find out more.
Livestock Lines Tours
Enjoy an exclusive tour of the cattle, sheep and pig lines, providing farmers the chance to meet exhibitors and find their next bull, tup, cow or ewes to establish or improve their own pedigree herd or flock – SOLD OUT
Sheep Shearing and British Fleece Show
Enjoy the buzz of the sheep shearing area by cheering your friends on, taking part, in the machine and hand shearing classes held across the three days.

Machinery and Equipment
Packed with the latest cutting-edge machinery from big name brands, the ‘Machinery Mile’ is the place you’ll find makes such as John Deere, Kubota, Caterpillar, Toyota, Massey Ferguson and Fendt showcasing tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, forklifts, diggers and other agricultural machinery.
New for 2026, GRASSMEN will be bringing their team and kit to Machinery Mile, providing the opportunity to ask questions and purchase merchandise.

Promoting British Produce
Promoting British produce is a key aim of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, with local food and drink producers selling in the Food & Drink Festival and across the showground, an English Wine Show, the International Cider & Perry Festival and local chefs on stage in the Food & Drink Theatre.
Plus, Love British Food will host a debate entitled, ‘From farm to menu: Who shapes Britain’s sustainable food future’, in the Future of Farming Theatre.

UK Rural Event of the Year 2024 Winner and 2025 Finalist
Royal Three Counties Show was crowned UK Rural Event of the Year 2024 by the NOEA awards and is currently a finalist for the 2025 award, highlighting the show’s significance and excellence in celebrating rural life, agriculture, and the community. This is a huge honour for everyone involved in making the event such a success.
