Information and Advice
Visitors can get expert advice on tree care and woodland management from a number of organisations while at the show.
There are also stands selling and offering advice on equipment such as log splitters and wood chippers as well as vegetation and arboreal services.
Pole Climbing Demos & Championships (Every Day)
The highlight of the Forestry Area is undoubtedly the World Pole Climbing Championships where competitors from across the country scale huge poles as fast as possible. The current record of 8.8 seconds was set at the show. Find out more here.
You can even have a go at scaling them yourself, but be warned – it’s harder than it looks!
Chainsaw Speed Carving (Every Day)
Watch the UK’s best chainsaw speed carving competitors go head-to-head in an incredible competition of skill and creativity. Back for 2026 after the success of last year’s event, this high-octane spectacle is not to be missed at this year’s show.
