EVENT ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE
EVENT ACCESSIBILITY AT ROYAL THREE COUNTIES SHOW
All the buildings at the showground have ramps and are accessible by wheelchair.
PARKING
Free parking is widely available at the showground alongside accessible parking for visitors with access needs.
If you’re a blue badge holder, please follow the wheelchair symbols on the signs and use the Brown/West Gate (off the B4209) for allocated accessible parking on hard standing near the showground entrance. Event Mobility are located in this car park for Three Counties Agricultural Society events.
TOILETS AND BABY CHANGING
There will be a Mobiloo located near Brown Gate at the Show every day. A Mobiloo is a mobile accessible toilet including a toilet with grab rail, electric hoist and full size changing table. Click here for more information.
There are also permanent accessible toilets throughout the showground, please see Show Map for specific locations.
There will also be an NCT baby changing space for members and non-members located behind Teme Hall (see map).
FREE SHUTTLE BUS
There’s a free shuttle bus (with disabled access) from Great Malvern Station to Three Counties Showground starting from 8:00am.
There are no pickup/drop off stops en-route. The last bus from the showground, back to Great Malvern station, leaves at 6:00pm. We recommend you consider not waiting until the last bus because it can be very crowded.
This will still run in the event of rail company strike action.
You’ll find the pick up point just outside the station. The return pick up point is at the Red Gate of the showground – there will be staff on the gate who will be able to assist if needed.
GETTING AROUND
Mobility scooters are allowed on site provided that they’re driven safely, at low speeds, and the Three Counties’ safety rules are followed.
If your scooter has low ground clearance, a narrow wheel base, or is three-wheeled, we strongly advise you not to use it on the site. The ground conditions are unsuitable for these scooters.
Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs are available for the disabled, elderly, and mobility impaired visitors, courtesy of the Event Mobility Charitable Trust.
If you have any questions about scooter hire or would like to book, please visit Event Mobility or call 01386 725391. We strongly advise booking this service in advance to avoid disappointment as there will only be a very limited number available to hire on the day.
PICNICS
There will be four wheelchair accessible picnic benches available to use at the Festival.
ACCESSIBLE TICKETING POLICY
While we do not offer free tickets or concessions for people with access needs, where a carer is required, one carer may be admitted free of charge per ticket-holder with access needs when they pay the normal admission fee. Please call our Accessible Booking Line on 0800 640 5001 to arrange this. Please be aware you may be asked to provide supporting documentation.
For events which we do sell on the day, carers do not need to purchase a ticket in advance, but documentation must be provided at the gate to prove that the ticket holder requires a carer during their visit. Supporting documentation can vary, and may include proof of disability living allowance or documentation from a doctor, anything that provides proof that the ticket-holder requires a carer during their visit to the Showground. If you are unsure and would like to check in advance that the documentation you have is adequate, please call 01684 584900 and we will happily advise.
