Winter Glow, the premier multi-faceted event in the region, situated at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, is officially back for the Christmas season of 2023!
This week, Winter Glow commenced the holiday celebrations, inviting all to indulge in the Yuletide spirit. An array of attractions and exhilarating experiences awaits, including the newly introduced, enchanting Light Trail and the towering Observation Wheel, visible from afar, symbolising a hub of holiday cheer with even more adventures for visitors in this local winter paradise.
Alongside the Personalised Santa Experiences, guests can explore last year’s Light Trail theme, ‘A Christmas Odyssey’, enjoy a ride on the 120ft Observation Wheel, glide across the Indoor Ice Rink, and wander through Winter Glow’s newly established Christmas Market, featuring a variety of local vendors, craftsmen, and creators. The Food Quarter and Ice Cafe are also making a return, providing snug spots for guests to recharge after their festive activities!
With four events available for booking, the first attendees looking for family fun embarked on a captivating grotto adventure for a personalised Santa experience, replete with extraordinary surprises. Families were whisked away to a holiday fantasy upon arrival, greeted by the Chief Elf Jingle, who presented them with playful tasks to accomplish before their special trek through the meandering structures to Santa’s Toy Workshop.
Upon reaching the workshop, brimming with genuine sights, sounds, and aromas, guests were welcomed again by Elves, who invited them to discover their enchanting environment. Each family then had their unique meeting with Santa in his snug grotto.
The adventure didn’t end there! Post-meeting Santa, families relished the delights of Mrs Claus’ Bakery, where each youngster adorned their own festive biscuit. They then continued through the Winter Village, passing by The Old Sweet Shoppe and North Pole Letter Box, to enjoy a variety of holiday street entertainers and the captivating ambiance surrounding them.
The ice-skating sessions are now available daily within one of the West Midlands’ largest Indoor Ice Rinks. The rink welcomes everyone, offering skating aids for children and nearby seating for those who prefer to observe!
